How to Keep Watches in Good Condition
For me, a watch is not only a convenient time reminder but also a wonderful and useful ornament. Having a beautiful and useful watch on hand makes me confident. However, sometimes what annoys me is the fading of its beauty. As a result, I work hard on finding out good ways to keep my watch in good condition.
To place the watches properly:
As we all known that in order to maintain a certain accuracy, once the watch is worn on the wrist, it will be adjusted to meet the range of 5 ℃ -35 ℃. It means that different temperatures will affect precision. Only until the temperature returns to normal, accuracy will be reinstated. If a watch is in a place whose temperature is lower than -10 ℃ or higher than 60 ℃, the watch will get its function damaged or even cannot work again. As a result, we should take good care of our watches and place it in a proper temperature. Secondly, we should avoid some places with special condition. For examples, we should not place the watch nearby the things with strong magnetic wave, including television, sound equipment and magnetic necklaces. Also, we should not let the watches stay nearby the medicines which are easily to distribute the gas or are likely to evaporate.
To examine the watches periodically:
From the time we buy our watch, we should notice that a periodical examination is needed. I recommend that the watches should accept the examination every two or three years. In that way, you can get to know what the matter is with your watch and make some measures in time. One hand, If you want to have a check whether the watch is damaged by water or sweat or not, you can sent it to the shop you bought in. on the other hand, if you find the material of the watchband has been destroyed or harden, you can go to the professional shops to have the watchband repaired or changed.
All in all, we should take good care of our watch from the time we own. To place the watches properly and to examine the watches periodically are two main important ways to keep watches in good condition.
